Oyedele Blasts Nigerians Wey Abuse World Bank Over Nigeria Loan

Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of di Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, don fault Nigerians wey attack di World Bank for social media over loans to Nigeria, saying dia actions show say dem no understand how di lending system dey work.

Oyedele speak on Wednesday for Abuja during media briefing on di Federal Government economic reform scorecard, where he explain say some Nigerians go World Bank social media accounts to abuse di institution over its decision to lend money to Nigeria.

Di minister say di Abuja eventually switch off comments on its social media platforms because of di abuse, but insist say di online attacks no affect di loan approval process.

Oyedele explain say Nigeria still get di loan because World Bank lending decisions no dey based on social media comments, urging Nigerians to understand how di international lending system works before criticizing such decisions.
