Minister of di Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, don vow say e go resign from im position as minister if Presido Bola Tinubu lose di 2027 presidential election for Rivers State and FCT.

Wike make dis statement during meeting with leaders and members of Apo Mechanics and Traders Association for Abuja, as e say im stay for Tinubu cabinet depend on whether e fit deliver electoral victory for di Presido.

For statement wey im Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, release on Wednesday, Wike say if Tinubu lose for Rivers State and FCT for di January 16, 2027 election, e go announce im resignation di next day.

Wike say if e no fit deliver victory for di Presido for di areas wey e get political influence, e no deserve to remain as minister, adding say e go announce im resignation on January 17, 2027, if Tinubu lose for both places.
